NFC Technology

No need for batteries or Bluetooth. Our smart locks use NFC Technology which harvests energy directly from your phone, just like ‘tap to pay.’ All you need to access your unit is your smartphone.

Opening a Smart Lock

  1. After downloading the Mobile app, log in using the credentials provided when you opened up your account.
  2. Open the Mobile app and select your “Unit.”
  3. Select “Open with NFC.”
  4. Hold your phone directly to the flat part of the lock and wait for the check mark.

Closing a Smartlock

  1. When closing, slide latch back over, place lock back in place.
  2. Select “Close with NFC.”
  3. Hold the phone directly to the flat part of the lock and wait for the check mark. Double check the lock is closed.
  4. As a reminder, when moving out, close the lock on the door. Do not take the lock or leave inside the unit. Thank you!
