How Do I Move In?

You can move in anytime during normal access hours. You will be given a gate access code. Normal gate access hours are 6am-10pm. You can purchase 24-hour gate access for $10/mo.

A smart lock will be provided when you set up your account. To access the advanced features of our smart locks, simply download our app from the App Store or Google Play. Once logged in, your smart lock will automatically be synced to your account and unit door.

Please do not store and liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

How Do I Move Out?

When moving out, we require a 5 day written notice, in the form of email, for documentation. We rent on a month-to-month basis and if you are in the unit on the first of the month then rent is due. We do not prorate move-outs.

If you are ready to move out, please complete the following steps:

  1. Email your your location of storage, unit number, and intended date of move out to info@americanstoragesouth.com. If anything changes, please let our staff know via email.
  2. Ensure that the unit is empty of all personal belongings and trash. There are brooms available throughout the facility to clean your space.
  3. On the day of your move-out, take pictures of the empty unit which include images of the unit number and space and send to info@americanstoragesouth.com.  he subject of your email should be your name, your unit number, and the location you store with.
  4. Put the smart lock on the door of your unit and lock it.
  5. Upon receiving pictures of the empty unit, we will complete the move-out through our system and perform a site audit to ensure the space is no longer occupied.
